So, now you may have some idea about domain authority. According to me, there is no relation of domain authority with rankings of the website.
Some SEO’s blame Moz for misleading content. But Moz has clearly said in this blog: “Domain Authority is not a metric used by Google in determining search rankings and has no effect on the SERPs.”
Related to domain authority, I can tell you there are some other ranking factors that related to the domain authority.
The main game is all about trust in front of Google. If you regularly provide unique, original, and valuable content to the audience, your website’s trust will be built in the front of Google.
So, Google will rank your content without any doubt, because your website is providing value in the market for a long time.
So, if you are providing consistently content in the market then your domain authority will also be good.
Here domain authority connects the statement: If you have an old, trusted website, good domain authority in front of Google and in front of market. There may be higher chances your content will rank.
I know there are many other examples available online to cut my above statement but this is my suggestion and opinion on domain authority.
